CAREER OBJECTIVE / PERSONAL PROFILE
I would herewith like to apply for a position as a Sous-Chef / Crew-Chef / Stew-Cook / Cook, aboard a vessel large enough, so that I may work under a highly qualified Head-Chef, to gain enough experience in the Yachting Industry, so as to take position as Head-Chef within 1-2 years.
I am always excited by food, and culinary art, and driven every day, to throw my love, creativeness, and true passion for food, into the mix. I started in Restaurant kitchens at the age of 13, and I was naturally bound to follow a remarkable career in the Culinary World, and from here on, exploring the vast culinary trends by sea, travelling the oceans, hopefully for the next 12-16 years. My long-term goal is to open the Best Restaurant in South Africa, at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, and have my small Sail Yacht in the V & A Marina.
I would love to eventually also do my Yacht Master Ocean, and then OOW 3000 ton, to be a truly competent Sailor. I am an exceptionally driven and dedicated person, and I have a great sense of humor, and am considered a fun & exciting person to live and work with, but I am at the same time very focused on the work at hand, and always focused on Safety, and exceptional Service & Standards. I am valued in great esteem, as a true Team-Player; by employers and colleagues alike. As many will vow, I am always honest and trustworthy.
