TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
My name is Kevin Parkinson. I am 25 years old and have dual nationality Irish and South African (B1/B2). My objective is to secure a professional engineer/deckhand position aboard a motor yacht.
Ultimately I would like to be part of a committed team on board a charter or private yacht in a couples position with my girlfriend, Brittney Aboud who is a Jnr stewardess. Having grown up in a small seaside town, I am known to be a practically minded, capable, ‘hands on’ person and a quick learner.
I have my AEC and although I do not have all the Y qualifications, I have my South African N2 and N3 in Electrical/Electronics and worked a number of years in the Electrical and Mechanical trade. I have worked on the Hermitage in Antibes doing Electrical work, the White Rose as a 3rd Engineer preparing it for the Med Season and worked as an Engineer in Fort Lauderdale on the Motor Yacht Touch. At present I am working in the yard on the Aurora B in FLL. (written references)
My objective is to make a career in the yachting industry and would like to prove myself in a more permanent or seasonal position.
