Hello,

My name is Victor Salvadó Palacio, I am from Barcelona (Spain), I have a Degree in Maritime Navigation and I have been sailing all my life.

Since I was teen, I have sailed and racing in different classes of sailboats, and worked as coach and watersports instructor. My passion for this sport is the main reason why I’m studying my career.

I have also a STCW-Deck rating (Ratings forming part of a navigational watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more) and a STCW- Automatic Radar Plotting Aids (ARPA).

I need to realize onboard sea-time to get the rank of Marine Merchant Captain, at the end of november (If I am in Spain) I will get my First Officer 3000 because i have finished my Officer Deck Cadet year, and after a year of onboard work (vessel more than 100 GT displacement) I will get the range of Captain of the Merchant Navy up to 500 GT; after the second year I can get up to 6000 GT and at my third the unlimited ticket.

I have my “Capitan de yate” also, certificate equivalent to RYA Yachtmaster Ocean, my STCW and my seaman’s book and I am a hardworking and high motivated person. My objective is to be a Sailing Yacht Captain , I am seeking an employment where I can extend and apply in a practical way the knowledge I have acquired and I am very interested in working on a yacht to increase my experience and grow in the industry.
