Professional Summary

I am an experienced crew member and have joined a boat in the BVI's as they needed someone until May that is hands on with decent engineering experience. In my experience I have also gained skills such as up keeping and maintain a boat, keeping it clean and polished, engine room maintenance, oil/filter changes, replacing pumps and impellers, fuel transfer, cleaning strainers, servicing generators, macerator pump management and general repairs. I was also able to put my knowledge of carpentry into practice on many occasions. I work well in a team and I have a hard work ethic whereas I have been told spreads to a team in any environment. I love meeting new faces and I have a passion for learning. I would say that I'm pretty professional and I've always carried a philosophy that is "If you’re going to do something you should do it right" although I have always lived with this notion I've always done so whilst having a good time and creating a happy and peaceful atmosphere for those around me. I have many hobbies which include diving, water sports, keeping fit, reading and I have recently taken an interest in kite surfing. I am currently working towards my Y4 and continuing to gain knowledge and to be a good useful member of the crew.
