Professional Summary

Since I started diving 10 years ago I always dreamed about working at sea. When I became a scuba instructor 4 years ago I knew I never wanted to go back to a job on land.
I am exited to cross over to the yachting industry because I see it as an opportunity to not only to work but also to live at sea, ideally combining my diving skills with the job. Although I do not have any yachting experience, I have been working on a dive boat for 4 years as a deckhand – instructor so I’m used to long working hours and getting along with colleagues in confined spaces.
I am hoping to work with a crew that treat each other like family, a captain who I can learn from, build up my sea time and expand my knowledge and seamanship skills to upgrade my YM Coastal.
