Master Unlimited and Chief Officer working in yachting since 2011 across nine yachts from 29 m to 91.4 m, progressing from Deckhand through Bosun and Officer to Chief Officer. Since June 2022 on the 70 m ice-class expedition yacht M/Y Polestar, first as Second Officer and since September 2023 as Chief Officer, leading a deck crew of 5 and covering as Captain when the permanent Captain is on leave, with 4 independent passages in command. Responsible for the deck department and its budget, navigation planning, safety management (ISM, ISPS, MLC), survey documentation and tender and crane operations,
with ISM, ISPS and MLC audits passed without significant findings. Friendly, procedure minded leadership style with open communication with the crew. Seeking a Chief Officer position, or Captain, on a private or charter yacht.
