Experienced Junior Deckhand seeking for yacht employment

Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to apply for the Junior Deckhand position on your vessel, whether sailing or motor yacht. As a Russian national with a strong passion for the sea and 555 nautical miles of sailing experience, I am eager to join a professional crew where I can grow and contribute to the smooth operation of the yacht.
My qualifications include:
· STCW Basic Safety Training (in progress)
· ENG1 Medical Certificate (application submitted)
· Languages: Russian (Native), English (B1), Spanish (B1), Greek (A1)
· Valid Russian Seaman’s Passport (Seaman’s Book) – eligible to work on most flag states (Malta, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Spain, etc.)
· Seafarer’s Identity Document – available
· International Yacht Training (IYT) Certificate – available
· Experience: 555 miles of hands-on deck experience, familiar with mooring, line handling, watchkeeping, and basic maintenance
I am a fast learner, physically fit, and a reliable team player. I understand the importance of safety, discipline, and good communication on board. My Spanish and English skills allow me to integrate easily into international crews, especially on Mediterranean routes.
I am available for seasonal or long-term contracts and am flexible regarding salary. I am ready to start work immediately upon receipt of the official invitation letter and visa approval. I can join the vessel as soon as the visa process is completed.
