✔️Seven Seas Recruitment is currently recruiting for the following position:
• Title: TEMPORARY CREW CHEF for a 50m private motor yacht.
• Employment Type: Temporary (approx 6 weeks).
• Salary: Great salary on offer (DOE).
• Location: Mediterranean.
Vessel Details:
• A 50m private motor yacht is currently seeking a Temporary Crew Chef to join the vessel from the 16th of August until the 25th of September.
• Joining in Palma before completing an Atlantic crossing to Fort Lauderdale, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting delivery whilst working alongside a professional and established crew.
• With no guests onboard throughout the contract, the focus will be on supporting the crew and preparing the galley for the upcoming season.
Position Overview:
• This temporary role will see the successful candidate taking full responsibility for preparing nutritious, varied, and high-quality meals for a crew of 12 throughout the crossing.
• In addition to crew catering, the Chef will play an important role in organising, detailing, and preparing the galley and storage areas following the summer season, ensuring everything is in excellent order ahead of the yacht’s next programme.
• This would suit a well-organised and adaptable Chef who enjoys longer passages and takes pride in maintaining a clean and efficient galley.
Requirements:
• Candidates must hold a valid STCW, ENG1, and hold a valid B1/B2 visa in hand.
• A Schengen visa will also be required where applicable.
• Previous yachting experience is essential, and the yacht is looking for someone who is comfortable at sea, and is happy to undertake an Atlantic crossing.
• A positive attitude, strong organisation, and the ability to work independently are all key to success in this role.
• The package includes an industry-standard salary (DOE), together with the opportunity to complete an Atlantic crossing onboard a well-run 50m private motor yacht.
