Exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and hands-on Captain to join a 55m / 499 GT new-build motor yacht, currently under construction in Italy and scheduled for delivery in November 2027.
French Riviera based
Maltese flag
Caribbean, USA, Mediterranean and worldwide cruising
Private family use and selective charter
Joining 8–10 months before delivery
The yacht belongs to a young, active family passionate about surfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling, diving, wakeboarding and adventure cruising.
The ideal candidate will have:
– Proven command experience on similar-sized yachts
– Strong new-build, commissioning and delivery experience
– Private and charter experience
– Excellent crew recruitment and leadership skills
– A genuine passion for watersports and adventurous cruising
– Strong technical, operational and financial management abilities
– An energetic, approachable and hands-on attitude
The Captain will oversee the final construction stages, recruit the crew, establish onboard procedures and guide first-time yacht owners through delivery and the yacht’s initial seasons.
