Job Description
✔️Seven Seas Recruitment is currently recruiting for the following position:
• Title: CHEF for a 40m+ private and charter motor yacht.
• Employment Type: Permanent (60 days leave per year).
• Salary: Strong salary on offer (in USD).
• Location: US/Mediterranean (dual-season).
Vessel Details:
• A 40m+ private and charter motor yacht is currently seeking an experienced Chef to join the vessel towards the end of September.
• The yacht is currently in a shipyard period in Fort Lauderdale until mid-October, before heading to the Antigua Yacht Show, with a charter already confirmed shortly afterwards.
• Looking ahead to 2027, the yacht will head to the Mediterranean, with the programme increasingly focused on charter. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing charter programme.
• The yacht has lovely owners and a fit, healthy and active crew, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a positive environment onboard.
Position Overview:
• The yacht is looking for an exceptional, versatile Chef who can deliver top-quality guest cuisine whilst also producing fresh, healthy and varied food for the crew.
• With the programme moving towards increased charter activity, the successful candidate must be confident adapting to different guest preferences and producing consistently high-quality food throughout busy trips.
• The Captain is looking for someone who will integrate naturally with an active crew and bring a professional, positive approach to the galley.
Requirements:
• Candidates should have strong previous experience as a Chef onboard private/charter yachts, with the ability to deliver consistently excellent guest food.
• A broad culinary repertoire and confidence producing healthy, nutritious crew food is also essential.
• You must hold a valid B1/B2 visa to be considered for this role, and you must also be available to start for the end of September in the US.
• The package includes a strong salary per month (paid in USD) and 60 days’ annual leave. More details to follow at interview stages.
