Vessel Details:

• A prestigious 110m private motor yacht is currently seeking an experienced rotational First Engineer to join the engineering department from mid to late August.

• The yacht operates a private Med cruising program and is currently located in the Eastern Mediterranean. This is a great opportunity to join a large yacht program, with an exceptionally stable engineering department and excellent long-term career prospects.

• The current Chief Engineer has been onboard for over 11 years, with some great longevity from other crew members too.

Role Overview:

• This is a senior engineering position offering significant responsibility within a well-established engineering team. Working directly alongside the Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the engine room and lead the engineering department whenever the Chief Engineer is away from the vessel.

• You will oversee daily engineering operations, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, compliance, and the management of the engineering team onboard.

• This role would suit an experienced Engineer who enjoys leading from the front and is looking to step into a position with genuine responsibility onboard a world-class yacht.

Requirements:

• Candidates must hold a Class 1 Chief Engineer CoC and have previous experience leading engineering teams onboard large yachts.

• This opportunity would be particularly well suited to an experienced Chief Engineer from a 60m+ yacht looking to progress into a senior engineering role onboard a significantly larger vessel.

• The package includes a time-for-time rotational schedule, a very strong salary per month (DOE in EURO), as well as other benefits and perks which can be discussed at interview stages.

• Start date: Mid to late August.
