Job Description
GREEN DECKHAND WANTED – Motor Yacht 44m – Barcelona (Port Forum) Start: 5 October 2026 | Winter position with the prospect of a full season contract
We are a 44m charter motor yacht wintering in Port Forum, Barcelona, and we are looking for a motivated junior deckhand to join our team.
About the role
This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to build a real career in yachting. Over the winter you will learn the job properly from an experienced crew: exterior maintenance, washdowns, varnish and paint prep, tender care, line handling, and general yard-period support. Candidates who show commitment and earn the team’s trust this winter will be offered a contract for the 2027 season.

Hard-working, reliable and eager to learn
A calm, balanced personality who fits into a small team living together
A genuine passion for the yachting industry
No experience required. We train the right person.
Requirements
STCW Basic Safety Training
ENG1 or equivalent seafarer medical
Valid passport and right to work in the EU
Good spoken English (French or Spanish a plus)
Completed secondary education
Entry-level winter salary.
