Job Description
Position: Engineer / Deck Officer (Hands-on)
Vessel: 20m Sailing Vessel – Global Surveyor
Location: Glasgow (UK) → Ilulissat, Greenland (Disko Bay)
Season: June – October
We are looking for an Engineer with strong sailing experience to join our expedition team in Greenland.
Role:
-Responsible for engine maintenance, systems checks, and onboard technical operations.
-Sharing deck duties and sailing watches (strong sailing experience is essential).
-Supporting day trips for professional photographers in Arctic waters.
Requirements:
-Engineering qualification or proven mechanical experience on vessels.
-Solid sailing background.
Polar experience is a big plus.
