SECOND ENGINEER/DECKHAND POSITION AVAILABLE STABLE/SHIPYARD FOCUS

We are looking for a Second Engineer / Deckhand to join a stable, professional crew aboard a 50m Motor Yacht. The vessel is entering a 7-month shipyard period for a 20-year class survey and a major engine overhaul.

This is a long-term opportunity designed for growth, with a clear path to step up as a relief Chief Engineer when ready. The vessel operates with a strong culture of preventive maintenance and places a high priority on Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS).

Key Responsibilities (85% Engine Room / 15% Deck Assist during Summer Season):
• Executing and maintaining the daily routine maintenance schedule via PMS.
• Assisting with engine room cleaning, painting, and class survey refit works.
• Mastering onboard systems alongside the Chief Engineer to prepare for future relief duties.
• Supporting the Deck department during guest trips and busy seasonal periods when needed.

• Location / Phase: 7-Month Shipyard Refit (20-Year Survey & Engine Overhaul)
• Cabin Setup: Shared cabin — female candidates required due to current cabin arrangements.
• Requirements: Relevant engineering tickets/experience, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in preventive maintenance.
