We are looking for an OOW 2nd Officer to join a busy 60m Private / Charter Expedition Vessel that travels well off the beaten path.
Candidates should be experienced on vessels 50-60m+ and be ready to help lead a deck team of 6. The vessel will be in the Pacific followed by a trip down to New Zealand for a yard period.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced tender driver, the vessel has 5 tenders onboard up to 13m, jet, stern drive & outboard. Someone who is not afraid of hard work, motivated, organised, with a strong eye for detail, able to lead well by example. Deck Team is made up of C/O, 2/O, Bosun plus 2-3 Deckhands so the candidate should be willing to teach and share knowledge with the deck crew while acting as the right hand man for the C/O.
Bridge knowledge of ISM / ISPS is a must as you will be running the LSA and FFE and passage planning.
Candidates with Sail, Dive, Kite board or Fishing skills would have a big advantage.
€6,000 +/- DOE p/m plus 90 days leave.
