Vessel Details:
• A 44m private and charter motor yacht is currently recruiting for an experienced Second Stewardess to join the vessel in mid-November in Florida!
• The yacht operates a predominantly private programme with occasional charters, cruising between Florida and the Mediterranean.
• This is a good opportunity for a Second Stewardess looking to join an established yacht, with the potential for long-term career development as the owner’s plans to purchase a larger vessel.
Position Overview:
• The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Stewardess, assisting with the daily running of the interior department and maintaining high standards across both private and charter trips.
• Responsibilities will include guest service, housekeeping, laundry, interior organisation and preparing the yacht for upcoming trips.
• The yacht is looking for someone who is confident in their abilities, takes initiative and can support the Chief Stewardess while contributing positively to the wider interior team.
• With the possibility of the owner moving to a larger vessel, this position would suit someone looking for a long-term opportunity who is happy to grow with the programme.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Second Stewardess is preferred, although candidates with strong interior experience who are ready to take the next step will also be considered.
• Candidates should have a good understanding of service, housekeeping and laundry, alongside strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A professional, personable and team-oriented attitude is important, with the confidence to take responsibility and assist with the smooth running of the interior department.
• Candidates currently based in or near the US would be preferred for logistical reasons, although applications from elsewhere will be considered.
• A valid B1/B2 visa must be in hand.
• Salary: Competitive, DOE.
• Contract: Permanent (with standard days leave per year).
• Joining location: Florida, USA.
• Start date: Mid-November.
