Sole Captain, 24m Carbon Performance Sloop, Newport RI, ASAP start
Private Y Yachts 80’ S/Y, 2023 build, foreign flagged, professionally managed by KSC Marine.
Owner uses the boat 5 to 8 weeks a year, the rest of the time she’s yours to maintain and keep at an as-new standard.
Program: Join in the Newport area as soon as possible for the fall yard period. Caribbean winter 26/27, Mediterranean summer 27. Winter 27/28 open, Canaries or Morocco under discussion.
The role: Sole captain, additional crew as required. This suits a captain who likes a clear framework and takes pride in a boat that shines whether or not the owner’s aboard.
Requirements: Master 200GT or equivalent, STCW95 and ENG1. offshore experience including ocean crossings, hands-on engineering ability on a modern carbon boat with Victron, CZone and hydraulic systems, and real experience running a PMS, Seahub or similar.
Must hold a valid B1/B2 visa or US residency, foreign flagged vessel.
German or European languages helpful, not required.
