Job Description
✔️Title: TEMPORARY CHEF for a 44m charter yacht.
• Employment Type: Temporary.
• Salary: DOE in EURO.
• Location: Mediterranean.
Vessel Details:
• A 44m charter motor yacht is currently seeking a talented Temporary Chef to join the vessel in the Mediterranean from the 4th – 13th of August.
• This short-term contract will cover a guest trip alongside catering for a crew of 10, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced yacht Chef looking for a mid-season temp role!
Role Overview:
• This position is for a Chef who is confident producing fresh, healthy Mediterranean-inspired cuisine while remaining organised and efficient in a busy galley.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for menu planning, provisioning and preparation throughout the trip, ensuring both guests and crew receive consistently high-quality meals.
Requirements:
• Candidates should have previous experience working as a Chef onboard similar sized motor yachts, with Michelin-trained or Michelin restaurant experience viewed very favourably.
• The yacht is looking for someone with a passion for modern, healthy Mediterranean cuisine who can work independently and maintain exceptionally high standards throughout the trip.
• You must hold a valid Schengen visa/European passport in hand for this role.
• The package offers a competitive day rate (DOE), with the yacht willing to pay at the higher end of the market for the right candidate, together with travel to the vessel.
• Start date: 4th August.
